And now we know what ELSE George gets up to at night...

When I was creating these characters, I knew one of them would have an alternate identity as a wannabe superhero. Christopher seemed the obvious choice, being inventive, creative, and over-imaginative. So it had to be George.

Great Superman quote!

I feel bad for George. He is a real super hero at heart.

And here I figured no one would recognize that quote! I was tempted to go with some variation of, "With great power..." except that George has no power but still feels lots of responsibility.

Up, Up, and awayyyyy... Wait, that's the *other* guy! So what's MA's slogan going to be? Something weird, like The Tick used to say, maybe?

I think something closer to, "Stop what you're doing and please don't kill me"

Oh! By the way... I forgot to mention, earlier, (that happens a lot when you get ol... uh... What was I going to say?)

Anyway, I noticed you have a very lovely pic of the old
Grand Lake Theater in Oakland, CA. Yes, I know it well since I was in the Bay Area back in the early to mid 70s and occasionally went there to watch movies. Awesome! :D

How very cool. I'm not familiar with the Grand Lake, unfortunately - I just found the pic in an image search while looking for movie-related snips to use in assembling the top logo. The weird backstory is that KFP was born out of a movie review site that I also write. I started adding commentary by the KFP characters to movie reviews and then spun them off into their own comic strip, which is how they ended up with this carryover cinema theme.
