Since the next strip is going to be some time coming, I thought I would up a couple of interim experiments. Here is my original, very first drawing of Twitch, inked by hand and then colored on my iPad. The iPad coloring went amazingly well - I was able to easily import the original B&W inking to Sketchbook and then color it in, layer by layer, while sitting on my ass watching TV. Worked a treat. The inking is jagged because I scanned it at low res, not really expecting this to be a successful experiment, but I'm pleasantly surprised at how easy it went. KFP may end up being colored more regularly after all.

Nice! Glad to hear it was easy and you're happy with the result. It looks really well colored.

Thanks! I kept having to resist the urge to "fancy it up", with detailed shadows and whatnot. But, everything like that just made it look fussy and bad. In the end, I opted for minimalistic shading to keep it as subtle as possible.

This did come out well! The over-long shoe laces is a great touch too =D

Thanks! I think I'm going to have to desaturate the colors some more, though, to make them match better with the previously-used colors, or else Twitch is going to be a blob of intense color on a muted background.
